Midjourney is a generative artificial intelligence program and service that creates images from natural-language text prompts. It’s similar in concept to tools like OpenAI’s DALL-E and Stability AI’s Stable Diffusion, but is especially known for producing highly artistic and visually striking output. It began in 2022 and has been developed by Midjourney, Inc., a San Francisco-based independent research lab.
